305 vs 350. Same stroke, so a 350 block with a 305 crank makes a 350. Just get a 350. 305 has a 3.760 in bore 350 has a 4 in bore.

All you need is a oil pan and pickup tube, bolt the motor mounts to the frame and that moves the motor back 1 1/2 inches and you get more traction. The 350 and 305 are the same except for the bore and some other things, it will be just as easy to put the 350 in as the 305. Alot depends on how the motor was equipped such as carbed, injected, from CA, and so on.
